I am so excited to hear that Tesla finally launched its IPO (initial public offering) this week! It has garnered international attention with the simultaneous announcement that it will be opening dealer sites around the globe. ( http://www.teslamotors.com/about/press )
After a much anticipated unveiling of the new $50K Tesla model in New York City this week it seems that Americans have now met the future of sporty battery powered transportation.
Overall, there is still much to be desired from electric automobiles, but this is a very promising start. I want a red one. However, even with the lower $50-55K price tag, I have a feeling I will be buying buying more shares than joyrides in the near future.
